Our Class Fellows program, held 2020 - 2021, was intended to bridge the space between formal educational training (studio or college) and the professional dance world. The program provided young professionals (18 - 25) with free dance training, mentorship, and group book clubs.

Schanaya Barrows
Our first Class Fellow, Schanaya Barrows has been nominated as Outstanding Featured Performance, Small Theater for her role in “can i touch it?” with Company One Theatre, produced in partnership with the City of Boston’s Office of Arts and Culture. See more here.

Liz Westbrook
June 6 check out Luci, a contemporary dance work examining liberation in a digital sphere directed by former VLA Class Fellow, Liz Westbrook. Luci will premier June 6th at 7:30pm at the Foundry in Cambridge. The show features Keegan Scesny, Olivia Hatten, Abigail Ripin, Brooke Shelley, Isobel Souza, Isabella Villa.
