Boston-based, Victoria Lynn Awkward focuses on dance, visual arts, and empowerment. While in college she danced for Goucher College's Repertory Dance Ensemble. She co-founded the Dancers of Color Coalition; a group intended to celebrate dancers of color on Goucher's campus. As a professional artist, she has performed with Ashani Dances, Attn: Dance, The Davis Sisters, Heather Stewart, and Ruckus Dance. She is currently dancing with Jenna Pollack and is a 2019-2020 Institute of Contemporary Art Dance Fellow. She has worked for Color Magazine, the YMCA, and is the Director of VLA DANCE, a contemporary dance company that aims to empower artists and audience members alike through thought-provoking and rigorous dance.

Victoria Lynn Awkward, ubicada en Boston, se enfoca en danza, artes visuales y empoderamiento. Durante su carrera en la universidad, participó como bailarina del Repertorio de Danza de Goucher College. CHARITY BROUSSARD

Charity Broussard is a native of Flint, Michigan where she attended the Flint School of Performing Arts throughout high school. Upon graduation, she was accepted to Goucher College as a recipient of the Fine and Performing Arts in Dance Scholarship. While at Goucher, Charity was a part of the Goucher Repertory Dance Ensemble, as well as a founding member of Goucher College’s Dancers of Color Coalition. Post graduation Charity studied yoga at Rishikul Yogshala in Kerala, India. As a professional, Charity, teaches dance and yoga at Anthony Burrell Center for Dance. She has worked with Balletethnic and is currently dancing for Ashani Dances.

Charity Broussard es originaria de Flint, Michigan, donde asistió a la Escuela de Artes Escénicas de Flint durante su instrucción secundaria.
